Scope and activities
You start your apprenticeship in our in-house workshop. There, you will learn all the skills you need to be a true industrial mechanic. Afterwards, you will go through other departments (steel construction, mechanical production, assembly, etc.) to further develop your technical skills. Here, you’ll learn CNC lathing and milling, among other things. Your training will last a total of 3.5 years and will take place at our site in Altötting.
Your apprenticeship starts in September 2025.
Your tasks
As an industrial mechanic, you ensure that the heart of a company – production – runs smoothly. You do this by building, installing, and maintaining machines for our customers or constructing parts for them. Always under the competent guidance of our professionals and – over the long term – with increasing personal responsibility. We also offer you the opportunity to continue your training to become a master craftsman or technician.

Training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering
Scope and activities
You start your apprenticeship in our in-house workshop before moving to our electrical workshop. During your apprenticeship, you will not only be responsible for the optimal power supply of our systems but also ensure that everything runs smoothly. You’ll do this by assembling systems and equipment and then putting them into operation.
Your training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering will last a total of 3.5 years and will take place at our site in Altötting. It will start in September 2025.
Your tasks
As an electronics technician for industrial engineering, you’ll install electrical components and automation technology for our customers' machines and systems. In other words, your work ensures smooth processes. Does this sound like a lot of responsibility? It is. But you won't miss out on the fun either. After your apprenticeship, we also offer you the opportunity to continue your training to become a master craftsman or technician.

Your training as an industrial clerk
Scope and activities
One apprenticeship – everything included. As an industrial clerk, you will get a comprehensive overview of all our company specialties. You will work in departments like purchasing, materials management, sales, accounting, controlling, and human resources. By the end of your training, you will understand the entire EWD value-creation process. Your training as an industrial clerk will last a total of 2.5 years (shortened if you have a secondary school leaving certificate) and will take place at our site in Altötting. It will start in September 2025.
Your tasks
As an industrial clerk, you control the business processes in our company. For example, as a buyer, you negotiate with our suppliers, prepare calculations and offers for our customers in the internal sales department, or ensure that all business transactions are correctly posted in the accounting department. After your apprenticeship, we offer you the opportunity to continue your training to become a business administrator.
